The State Highway 183A extension spans five (5) miles north of the current State Highway 183A toll facility in Austin, Texas. The State Highway 183A extension is expected to open to traffic in 2012.
Baez Consulting audited the assumptions and parameters included in the 'Investment Grade Study' developed by Stantec Inc. and recommended changes on: demographics, modeling speed on competing facilities, long-term traffic growth, traffic attracted to the proposed toll facility, truck characteristics, and ETC market share. Baez Consulting also prepared two (2) toll revenue scenarios (most likely and private investors view) at the sketch level.
