State Highway 161
Description:
The State Highway 161 Toll Facility is located in the center of the DFW metro area and serves as a major access to DFW Airport. It is approximately 11.5 miles long and will extend from Interstate 20 in the City of Grand Prairie to State Highway 183 in the City of Irving. The segment between State Highway 183 and Interstate 30 opened in 2009. The segment between Interstate 30 to Interstate 20 will open in 2012.
Baez Consulting under contract with RBC Capital Markets, advised NTTA and RBC in the negotiation and acquisition of SH 161 from TxDOT. Baez Consulting developed toll revenue risk profiles, participated in rating and TIFIA presentations and meeting with local stakeholders.
