State Highway 121
Description:
State Highway 121 (renamed as the Sam Rayburn Tollway) is part of the North Texas Tollway Authority System (NTTAS). The Sam Rayburn Tollway extends northeasterly from State Highway Business 121 near the Dallas/Denton County line to US 75 in Collin County, a total length of approximately 26 miles. Some segments of the project are still under construction and they are expected to open to traffic by 2012.
Under contract with RBC Capital Markets, Baez Consulting advised RBC and NTTA in several phases of the acquisition, development and financing of the project. Baez Consulting participated in rating and insurance agency presentations when NTTA issued $3.4 billion in Bond Anticipation Notes to finance the acquisition of the project.
